There also has been a offer already from "MuchDifferent" to participate in PikkoServer (BETA).

But guess we have to wait for such extra research on other networking solutions since all efforts are focused on completing the new VU.

Thanks mingo, very interesting. Maximizing CCU is the next big milestone for the project.
