For some reason I always have background music when playing games, I get bored really quick otherwise. Some of my favourite songs:

My vision for game music comes from the GTA series.

Having the possibility to tune in-game into radio broadcasts all related to in-game factions with all their own specific propaganda and cool music that fits with their history.

The music itself should inspire the listener in certain ways.

This is a good example.



Another good example how samples can be used to make a cool song that makes people not only listen but also think about what they listening to.
Even as it is one a little over the top regarding the use of voice against the music itself but it is one fully dedicated to Bruce Lee, a true legend from the past.
