Sum ting wong with 0.6.5.6. Mr. Fixit fixed it again. And he left a note:

New: event type option using total globals value
Fixed: incorrect skilltype used / gained with some weapons
Changed: rebalanced weapon/tool skill requirements
Changed: item stats window now shows weapon/tool level
Translation
