Final say is not of the matter, Actus is hosting the scores, he is no god that is free of making mistakes. And maybe even gods make mistakes... But facts speak for them self.zydu wrote:One way or another, there is going to be an unhappy player left with nothing. I think in situations like this someone has got to have a final say and it should be the GM supervising the event. Event starts and finishes when GM says so, whether it's on time or not. Otherwise we could be arguing if started on time, finished on time, lasted for 100 minutes etc. Lets move on and GL next time!

Thanks for your reply Actus,Actus wrote:I can't explain the time difference.
From my side it was time. I send the end notice, then it took some seconds and they your HoF message showed up.
And this time the luck was not on your side.
I have check the countdown tool I use against the in-game clock and they are in sync. And I see your screenshot, but cant explain it.
Without lots of testings I can only speculate on plausible reasons. Maybe John can confirm or give any input on them.
Lag in server-client messages. Time sync on clients out of sync. Time stamp on HoF is kill time or loot time? It can even be a human error. Just to mention a few. But as we all know. In pion anything can happen.
Right or wrong, and of course it depends on what viewpoint you have, but the end note was sent and the event had ended. And after that you got the HoF. Sorry.
But even if this is a bit of a mess, and it is a mess and i agree with you on that, there is always something to take from this.
Ideas for improvements and routines changes. Anything that will push this game forward to the perfect game we all love. (and it's still a TestBuilt)
Personally i will take this with me. In future events I will always do the in-game time stamp prior the end note.
But also there will be requests for a in-game event timer that will start and stop the events with a global notice, and to take that another step, completely deal with the events and scoreboards.
