Lost connections

Hi all,

Was just in-game with Blake Seven on a team hunt and really started to lag and lost connections several times while hunting spiders near Babylon.  Anyone else having issues atm?

Saw you come and go loads G, always just in time to get the nicer bits of the loot so it wasn't all bad for you

lol, yeah...another M16A2 to add to the collection  Will try again soon sometime...now I gotta go see why my truck won't start...in the freezing cold Canadian winter...brrr...

About the connection issue, we really sorry about that.

We still have to reset the server manually when it crashes.

The most confusing part is that it shows Online, even after it crashed.
When you enter your password and try to log in you will see connection failed.

The developers worked out some solutions already and redesigns into the system.
After the new update, when the server would crash it will at least also shows this correct on the log-in screen.

Besides that they also looking into ways to restart it automatic and or remote in-case of a crash.

Another big help is the new networking that is worked on as we speak along with a new, much more powerful server ready to use.

It gets even better if you consider also the fact they have the funds for Unity Pro, that gives a lot of extra opportunities regarding performance and eye-candy.

It has been fine for me.

No server issues at all. The game logs me in every time.

I have had some lag issues at Babylon where my avatar keeps moving forward when I try to stop walking/running going towards the Pwn Shop.

Keep up the good work devs, the game is looking very good and I hope it continues from now.

Hi!
I was also S of Babylon when i lost conection, and now i cant get in and it still say its online.
It keep failing to conect, i gess its a bad Place to be for a newbie like me ;p S of Babylon i mean hehe

This is the reason why we're abandoning the built-in networking and replacing it with another library. It's no guarantee that the server won't crash anymore, but at least it will show the correct server status when it happens
