The server for the game is run off a laptop as far as I know.
It overheats a lot, and also seems to go offline when Jelle, and Tesla seem to go offline.
Tonight when I was on the game, was the first time in 3 days also when I could play the game properly.
The last 3 days, tonight (Saturday night) was the first time I managed to get on in 3 days.

Just try every hour or so, when the developers realise the server is offline, they will reboot it back up.
Thats was we have all learnt to do.

Best way to report a issue with the server is going to the
IRC channel.
At the
IRC channel Jelle will receive every message 24/7, but by obvious reason he will be sometimes afk or having his daily sleeping session like every human.
He lives in the Netherlands to give you a indication of the time-zone he lives in.
Their is a more stable server available but not in use yet, guess it is a matter of time.
