Hi,

I am falling thru a mountain and keep falling (now on 6997.8 -415.8 5996.4)
Is there a method to transport back to base without dying ? Or is there a method to die without creatures ?

I also had the same issue when I logged in. I just kept falling. I had to relog and then ended up having to pick which outpost to start in.

I noticed the same happened sometimes when logging in the game.
Their is a revive button in the player-status window.

This should set you back on one of the outposts. In case you encounter a problem you could also always visit the IRC channel where you find other participants and the developers on-line.

I did relogin after a few minutes but was still falling.
A day later I stood on the transporter
