Knowing that skills are being part of the next update makes me eager to think about crafting.
Not 100% sure, but at first was considered to implement crafting a version update after 0.6.0, but i think that has been changed back and placed again on the agenda for the upcoming version update.
Crafting will become one of my favorite professions besides my other favorites like hunting and mining.
