It is a common game behaviour that pressing the Shortcut button for a tool has two effects:

• If tool is loaded already then pressing the number key has the same effect as pressing the LMB
• If another tool is loaded than the system switches to the new tool

I miss the first point ...

To bad this one still not fixed.
I pointed out again to John this would indeed play better.

Lets hope it gets fixed soon.
