Defende skills + loot system

Hi all,

Okay, I'm sorry, my english is poor. Very poor.

So: It seems, something is wrong with the loot system now.

Why?
Mobs: I would like get some skills, if I hunting for weeks/monts/years and/or a player kill me in a pvp zone or when I hunting (evader/dodger).

PVP: I think, some players as new avatars want to get some dinars from the oil rig. But only one skilled player can ruin they game.
My example: I didn't get any oil, but the killer - who always camping at rig nowadays got a lot of globals/hofs.
So, my theory: if he made a lot of miss - it is return for him as a global from mobs. And he got the oil if he wants, of course.
I didn't get anything.
It seems, the globals / hofs = missed shots (loses) and decay. Am I right?
I think, the best choice if I would like to get dinars as an old avatar = camp at rig, kill other players and get the hofs. Don't mind, if I cant hit the enemy. So, it is skilling for free (I got hunting skill) + extras (oil and globals).

What is the solution?

So I guess your question all depends on if the loot distribution is determined by decay/ammo spent. I would speculate it is solely on my anecdotal personal experience.

Which then begs the question of does value spent in pvp etc carry over to returns from mobs hunted later. From what your saying it does, however I have no experience with that so would have to defer to the experiences of some of our more avid pvpers.

Beyond that though I don't think someone sitting at rig pking others is intrinsically unfair, you have the opportunity to develop your skills and use those weapons and benefit from that system if you so choose.

I think EU isn't calculating missed hits in the loot system (damage based), while PI is calculating (PID based).
If I will have 50-100 extra pids for this, I will try it.
Jimbo Jambo Jumbojet plays = Rent a rig with Sabrina and kill everything / everybody. He killed me a lot of times, but he don't lose a lot PIDs (I was dancing a bit, 1 kill in my calculation circa 5-10 PIDs, hard to hit a moving target) because his lost returned as a global/hof.
