Thanks to Lyosha for mentioning this and Lucius for helping with the answer. The mail does end up in the spam folder for some people and there's not much I can do about this until we get a domain + host + mailserver. All the funds from donations are being saved up to purchase the Unity Pro license, and everything beyond that will go to hosting and other improvements for the project.
